Calcium+D tablet

Indications:

– Supports bone, hair and nail health

– Osteoporosis

– Calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency

 Active Ingredients:

This product contains 500mg of calcium (as calcium carbonate) and 200 IU of vitamin D3 .

Pharmacological Action:

As a dietary supplement, this product contains calcium and vitamin D3. As a mineral, calcium is essential for strength and health of bones, teeth , contraction of muscles, normal performance of heart function and nervous system as well as blood clotting.

Vitamin D3 in product increases absorption of calcium from the intestine and employs a major  role in deposition of calcium in the bones. So this product has been recommended under physician’s supervision for people who: don’t take adequate calcium , don’t expose to enough sunlight, pregnant and nursing mothers , teenagers especially young girls, women before and after menopause , Elderly people , patients are treated with corticosteroids and anticonvulsants , patients with osteoporosis , rashitism , hypoparathyroidism .

Administration and Dosage:

Adolscents and adults: one tablet daily (1 hour after meal) In case of taking more than 1 tablet, consult  with your physician or pharmacist.

Interactions:

Calcium may delay absorption of many other medicines. Therefore it is recommended that this product should be used with 2 to 3 hours away from other medications.

Adverse Reactions:

This product is well tolerated at the recommended dose. It may be resulted in constipation, flatulence, nausea and vomiting .

Precautions & Contraindications:

If you have a history of sensitivity to calcium carbonate or vitamin D3 , hypercalcemia as well kidney stones , take it with caution.

Pregnancy and lactation:

It is permissible under medical supervision.

Storage:

Store below 30˚C and protect from moisture and light.
